ASUS A7N8X Can Not Reboot

I've never had to mess so much with computer parts in my life. Yes, the cpu fan is Plugged in... I think it will be fine after that, unless it's an issue with my video card (i.e. It runs fine, until I get my Geforce 4 drivers installed, then it just shuts down. http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/asus-a7n8x-deluxe-will-not-boot.10665/

Maybe I was jsut expecting a little too much. I have to swap my motherboards to get a connection to the net. installed modem drivers, and soem other stuff, using an old B&W monitor I have laying around (the good one is hooked up to my athlon 850), and finally installed my Xtasy No drives.I tried with 4 different Power supplies.

The Taisol CPU Heatsink and Fan are approved on the AMD Website for Athlon CPUs up to 2700+. I read that the board only supports 1.5 volt video cards, and I dunno what this one is. Are you sure that the fan is clipped on correctly? Used the tip about flipping the back panel PS no good.I am calling ASUS in the am. Yeah, I agree that it sounds like an overheating problem.
The Computer now refuses to boot up now although I get power, but I have no Video, and no Keyboard indicator lights.

I would carefully examine the Ram sockets. Make four wishes for yourself and work towards making them happen. I was going one step at a time with the CPU External Frequency from 100 to 133, and then hopefully to 166. Is this one of the fans that spins for 1 second?
