ASUS A7N8X Boot Problems

I just built a machine with the a7n8x E-deluxe board with 2800+ i had to underclock the cpu till i updated the bios, then it runs at 2800+ with no probs. I presume you're powering your Thermaltake fans from the power supply, which is good. You may need to fit a Floppy drive temporally or maybe even you may need to create a Boot CD to do this but you have to test the Drive first. check over here

I went out and bought new 400 watt PS and it still worked. Restore 3. It might refuse to power on because it doesn't detect a sufficient amount of RPMs on that connector. Remember even with the Full Format option in the XP installer it only writes to every third sector so at least 2/3 of the hard Drive remain untouched.Do as Dalton suggested A better option would be to wipe the SATA drive but to do that you'll need another working computer.
