Are These Temps OK For 2500k OC'd With Gellid Cooler?

ATM I'm at 4.5gHZ and almost 3 hours into Orthos on all 4 cores and all is well so far. kevinf80 replied Feb 1, 2017 at 1:16 PM Loading... That's a 'real world temperature'. Did it for an hour and temps seemed way better than when I had it at 1.35v Also, it seems that at idle my core#1-3 temps are between 35c-40c and my http://freedownloaddevelopment.com/are-these/are-these-temps-ok-100.html

Tells you your max GPU temps too. Running prime 95 64 bit when screen was taken. I'm still learning. And for overclocking, I've gotten 4ghz at 1.1vcore and I'm now in the middle of running Prime95 for 24 hours on my 4.5ghz overclock at 1.25vcore (its been 8 hours and http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/i-upgraded-to-a-i5-2500k-and-have-questions.173830/

also depending on where you are planning to get it from they might not have the motherboard that you want, since intel changes their socket frequently and most retailers dont keep online might be a better place to look for itPost edited 2013-10-22 14:08:122013-10-22 14:01:13 Skymsonic#28for some reason i cant edit my post but if you are planning to overclock at some Is everything ok here? ps.

Hard to say. Maybe I didn't fasten it correctly? You want a clean installation straight down, fastened tight, and left alone. You dont need more than 300fps for that game, 3350p is good enough.

fanboy555Apr 15, 2012, 2:20 PM The cooler has a 92mm fan. Many things, like the fact that, for instance, ASUS says you can do this OC with all power saving features left on, will be omitted. Yes.. Mar 28, 2011 Which CPU to upgrade to: i5 2500k or Skylake in same price range?

When I had it apart last night, I laid a razor blade across the heatsink to check the flatness and found the outer edges (the nickel plated part) to be higher You would be the first person in internet, most ppl have the OCed temperatures 55-65c, but noone has under 45 even. On my media center PC, Turbo pushes the voltage up a fair bit(1.04v prime for all threads and 1.18v with only 1 core active on prime95). http://www.flickr.com/photos/6188486...7631486959032/ bdigital View Public Profile Find More Posts by bdigital 10th Apr 2012, 11:58 #11 mrbungle Undercooked chicken giver Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: UK-Wolverhampton Posts: 4,991

great tutorial! The 'Auto' setting says it will set the voltage to 1,150v, but CPU-Z says otherwise. Get a mid-rage mobo for the future (OCing), so it can carry you aroung 3-4 years. http://freedownloaddevelopment.com/are-these/are-these-temps-normal.html prime95 for almost 2.5 hours not gonna leave it for 4hours since i actually need my pc and i dont want to leave it running overnight2013-10-23 13:42:15 heppionkeppi#99Do you honestly want

Note that, SOME CPUS may require CPU PLL overvoltage to be turned on to hit 4.5Ghz. fanboy555Apr 15, 2012, 4:44 PM Just tried Battlefield 3 Singleplayer (Ultra), highest temp was 62C. Ask a new question Read More CPUs Thermaltake Product Related Resources solved i5 2500k temps.

Make sure the Case has decent airflow, temps in the room aren't too warm, check the cooler to make sure the clips are securely locking too...

Are my temps to high for this cooler? (CoolerMaster Hyper N520) What are safe temps for Intel chips? Combine that with the stock cooler and its accompanying poor thermal paste and your temp is about normal. __________________ Phanteks Enthoo Primo / AsRock Rack EP2C602-4L/D16 / Dual Xeon E5-2670 / Something like a Cooler Master 212+ ot gelid Tranquillo as I think both will work with the Nelhalem CPU. how does one know if its 'too much' and when people say use a pea/rice size lump in middle...well that can be ANY size that.. I'd say 35-40C would be about right. __________________ The Box:i7 [email protected]|EK Supreme LT+Coolstream XT 360|16GB HyperX [email protected]|EVGA GTX780 ti+EK FC780ti|MSI P67A-GD55||M5 512|BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 750W|U3011|Raven RV-02E|KBT Pure+Perixx MX2000 + Intuos Is that too high?Picture: http://shrani.si/f/1z/li/p0zrOKG/brez-naslova.jpg 31 answers Last reply Apr 16, 2012 More about 2500k temps mcnumpty23Apr 14, 2012, 4:53 PM no thats fineit wont get as hot in everyday use this content If it is in levels, 5/10 or 3/5. 5 Go to CPU features turn off C5 C1 and EIST / Speedstep .

You should not allow the CPU to exceed 85 IMO. Reply With Quote 02-11-12,07:43 PM #264 Mago View Profile View Forum Posts Member Join Date Sep 2007 Location Louisiana have a quick question....while benching on heaven during the most stress
